Whenever I mention the word commenting, I get a variety of reactions from people. It is a word that doesn't resonate very well. However, mention the words social chat and there is a big more recognition. Social chat is a much more relatable and approachable way of describing commenting, because essentially this is what it really is, when done properly!

The social element is very important in social chat, something which is often neglected in commenting as people fail to see it can consist of two recipients.

Social chat essentially should result in a conversation, as that is the best way of socially communicating with your readers or loyal fans or followers.
Knowledge
Businesses use social chat as a means to find out more information from their customers, which allows them to create better products and services.
